BauRaum is a carcass furniture workshop in Tbilisi that has been working since 2020. Everything happens as one cycle: free consultation and on-site measuring, free 3D visualisation, production in our own facility and installation by our own crew. A single team is answerable at every stage, from the first meeting to the installed furniture.
Who we are and how we work
BauRaum was founded in 2020 and specialises in custom carcass furniture: kitchens, wardrobes and dressing rooms, bedroom, bathroom, children's, office and living room furniture, along with reception desks.
Our workshop is at 14 Spiridon Kedia Street in the Didube district of Tbilisi. The full production cycle happens there, which means control over lead times and quality stays with us rather than with subcontractors.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00-18:00. A Saturday visit to the workshop can be arranged in advance - useful when you want to see material samples in person and check textures by hand.
One team, the whole cycle
1. Free consultation and measuring - our specialist measures the space on site, checks the utilities and listens to how you use the room day to day.
2. Free 3D visualisation - you see the project with its colours, textures and lighting. Production starts only once you approve it, and changing any detail at this stage is free.
3. Production in our workshop - precise cutting, edge treatment and quality control at every stage.
4. Delivery and installation - our own crew assembles the furniture on site, fits the hardware, adjusts the doors and hands over a finished space.
A standard order takes 30-40 working days, a complex project 40-47 working days. The exact date is fixed in the contract.
Materials and hardware we work with
Our materials are Austrian and Turkish laminate board (DSP), Turkish MDF - laminated, painted and milled - plywood, natural wood veneer (oak, walnut, hornbeam) and moisture-resistant PVC board for wet areas.
For hardware we work with two brands: Blum (Austria, premium class) and GTV (dependable and high-technology). Both offer soft-close hinges, telescopic runners and lift systems for upper cabinets.
Material choice is part of the budget and we always discuss it openly: laminate is the most economical, laminated and painted MDF sit in the mid segment, and natural veneer is premium. On request we add integrated LED lighting, glass sections and quartz or engineered stone surfaces.
Where we work and for whom
We work in Tbilisi and across Georgia - in Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi and other cities. Delivery and installation are always carried out by our own crew, which keeps responsibility with a single team.
For private clients we handle apartment and house projects, from kitchens to children's rooms and dressing rooms.
With companies we work under a written contract: offices, clinics, hotels and beauty salons. Our portfolio includes a reception desk with a quartz surface, a consultation corner for a plastic surgery clinic, office studies and cabinet-desk units. If your designer is already working on the project, we accept drawings in any format - DWG, PDF, a sketch or a photo.
Warranty, payment and contact
Every carcass piece carries a written five-year warranty covering both the structure and the hardware. Under warranty the call-out, diagnosis and repair are free of charge.
Payment is 50% up front against the approved project and 50% on completion of the installation. Interest-free instalments are available on Bank of Georgia and TBC Bank cards.
